Shanghai Disneyland opened to the world just two short months ago and already it has hosted more than 1 million visitors. A new official video from Disney features a six minute look at how the magical kingdom was made along with an interview with Disney President and CEO Bob Iger and other members of Disney’s team:

There’s definitely a significant amount of that famous Disney detail in the park as well as some uniquely Chinese details. I spotted at least a couple hidden mickey’s too.

Congratulations to Bob Weis, who oversaw the project from Imagineering’s perspective, the over 100,000 workers who were involved over the 5 year construction period, the 10,000 plus cast members who worked at the park for its opening, and the Chinese partners who helped bring authenticity to the park’s attractions.

Authentically Disney, distinctly Chinese. That’s a good way to think about it. I can’t wait to get there and see it some day. How about you?
